Keanna MacInnes is gearing up for her Olympic debut in Paris after making her senior international bow at the 2023 World Championships in Fukuoka.
The University of Stirling athlete enjoyed a brilliant Aquatics GB Swimming Championships, becoming the first swimmer of the meet to rubberstamp her Paris place by making the Women's 200m Butterfly qualification time.
The previous summer, she was 20th in the 100m Butterfly on her Worlds bow, gaining valuable major arena experience in the process.
Keanna athlete came out on top in a thrilling 100m Butterfly final at the British Championships in April 2023 to seal her place on the team for the World Championships in Fukuoka – adding to the 200m Butterfly bronze medal she won earlier in the week.
The previous year saw Keanna break into the senior fold over two international competitions, the Commonwealth Games with Team Scotland and the European Aquatics Championships.
The latter event featured finals appearances in both the 100m and 200m Butterfly, MacInnes finishing seventh and sixth respectively.
