Public transport is the best and easiest way to get to and from the Pool, either by train, plane, bus or cycle.

Edinburgh Waverley station is a 25 minute walk from the pool or you can catch the number 14, 30, or 33 bus from the North Bridge stop directly to Commonwealth Pool stop.
Edinburgh Haymarket station is a 45 minute walk from the pool or you can catch the number 2 or 33 bus directly to Commonwealth Pool stop.
Edinburgh Airport is around 1 hour away via public transport. The Airlink 100 bus stops in Stance D outside the airport terminal, travel to Shadwick Place then catch the number 30 or 33 bus to the Commonwealth Pool stop.
The Commonwealth Pool bus stop is part of the number 2, 14, 30, 33 and N30 routes, you can plan your journey on the Lothian Buses website.
There are 13 Just Eat Cycle parking spaces directly outside the Royal Commonwealth Pool along with an additional 37 spaces a 4 minute walk away at Pollock Hall. The Edinburgh CycleStreets Journey Planner provides direct and scenic route options for cycling throughout the city.
The M6 is just over an hour drive away. There are a number of multi-story car parks located across Edinburgh with the closest being the Quartermile NCP car park, a 20 minute walk from the pool. There are also 7 park and ride locations offering free parking on the outskirts of the city with the Newcraighall and Sheriffhall locations offering direct buses to the Commonwealth Pool stop.
