On the 23rd and 24th November at the iconic London Aquatics Centre, the world’s best swimmers will be competing in a true battle of strength in the London match of the first ever season of the International Swimming League (ISL).
The inaugural ISL season begins in October and sees 8 world class teams – 4 from Europe and 4 from the USA – compete in a series of matches that will culminate in the grand final in Las Vegas in December.
The London Roar, competing for the first time in Dallas in October, is made up of some of the best swimmers in the world featuring athletes from over 10 different countries including some of the biggest names and most decorated Olympic and World Champions from Australia, Russia, Brazil and Canada. The team also includes our very own Adam Peaty, Duncan Scott, James Guy, Siobhan Marie O’Connor, Holly Hibbott and Sarah Vasey.
The London match will see the London Roar come face to face with swimming superstars Sarah Sjostrom, Federica Pellegrini, Chad Le Clos and Katinka Hosszu to name just a few. The match is going to be a true battle of strength in the pool and a unique opportunity to see these teams compete for glory.
The action will be taking place from 17:00 to 19:00 on both days with doors opening at 16:00, and the ISL are offering tickets to all UK Swimming Club members at a special discounted pre-sale rate for just 5 days from the 30th August.
