Olympic bronze medallist Tom Daley fought back to win silver in the 10m Platform in Guangzhou at the second leg of the FINA/NVC Diving World Series.
Daley, who won bronze in Beijing, needed to recover from a shaky first dive to pull himself back up the leader board to take his silver medal.
He scored just 56.00 for his Inward 3 ½ Somersaults tucked in the first round but he used his competition experience to show consistency with his last five dives.
Daley’s best dive was his Front 4 ½ Somersaults tucked which scored him 105.45 he also scored over 100 points for his Front 3 ½ Somersaults 1 Twist piked.
He moved into second place in the fifth round and finished with a total score of 531.45 points.
China’s Chen Aisen won the gold medal with 601.15 points while Yang Hao (China) took bronze with a total of 526.65.
