Aquatics GB is excited to confirm a three-year innovation partnership with compression technology brand ISOBAR.
This collaboration will see the Manchester-based innovators support our elite aquatic athletes' recovery in training and competition through use of their sports compression technology.
The partnership follows a successful trial with the swimming team at February's World Aquatics Championships in February, and it will also feature Aquatics GB and ISOBAR working together on research into the full performance impact of the compression garments and how products and their use can be further individualised to an athlete's specific preference.

Aquatics GB Head of Physical Performance Richard Chessor has worked closely on introducing the ISOBAR technology into our swimming and diving teams over recent months, saying: "When we first saw what ISOBAR had to offer in the compression wear sector, there was huge physiological benefit compared to other brands. The next obvious step is then to customise that compression, and ISOBAR being able to do that for our athletes is hugely effective. We are confident that working with them will enhance our athletes' performance."
