British Swimming has paid tribute to ASA Group Board Chairman Edward Lord OBE after he announced his decision to stand down from the post.
Lord was appointed in 2013 to lead the ASA’s new Group Board which has provided the ASA with a greater business and strategic direction. He will leave the post on 31st May.
Paying tribute to Lord, British Swimming Board Chairman Maurice Watkins CBE said: “We’re sorry to see Edward go. He has been very supportive to both British Swimming and the ASA during the necessary process of separating the two organisations.
“We’ve enjoyed a good working relationship with Edward during his time with the ASA and wish him well for the future.”
