Please be reminded that you will require a valid safeguarding qualification to apply for a coach pass for any British Swimming or Swim England event from 1st January 2018.
A Safeguarding Certificate is valid for three years. Please update your membership record with a valid Safeguarding certificate urgently to ensure you are prepared to purchase a poolside accreditation. If you already have one, all you need to do is send in proof to Swim England or Scottish Swimming membership departments.
Training Course at Swim England Winter Champs
In anticipation of the new safeguarding requirement, the IoS will be holding a Safeguarding and Protecting Children course during the Swim England National Winter Championships. The workshop will take place on Wednesday 13th December, 12:30-3:30pm in the Skyline Bar at Ponds Forge. The fee is £35 per head and there are limited spaces available. Book your place now.
