At the start of next week, invitations will be sent out for the British Summer Championships, based on performances in the recently closed Qualifying Window. The full invitation list will also be available at www.swimmingresults.org for everyone to view.
This year we have introduced a short period where these invitations must be accepted. The closing date to accept these initial invitations is 17:00 on 14th June.
Entry will then reopen for the British Summer Championships on 16th June with everyone who was invited but not entered removed, and a new list calculated (with places offered to the next eligible ranked swimmer).
Entries will open to the Swim England, Swim Wales and Scottish Swimming summer meets on 17th June, which will allow for any changes made to the British Summer Championships.
We are hoping that by implementing this system we can ensure as many swimmers as possible can compete at the prestigious British Summer Championship.
