A quartet of British marathon swimmers are gearing up for the first leg of the LEN Open Water in Eilat, Israel this weekend.
Emily Clarke, Maisie McCartney, Toby Robinson and Nathan Hughes are set to compete in the 10km events, which kick off the six-round competition for 2020.
Both Men's and Women's 10km races take place on Sunday 8th March, when the British quartet will look for strong finishes against rivals from around Europe.
Robinson competed in the Eilat contest last year, finishing seventh in a time of 1:53.25 - but it will be a maiden appearance at the event for Clarke, McCartney and Hughes, who are in international competition for the first time this year.
The remaining five legs of the LEN Open Water Cup do not take place until the second half of 2020.
