Three day thriller sees impressive swims from Scots

Three days of exciting action at the Royal Commonwealth Pool in Edinburgh saw strong performances from some of the country’s best swimmers at the Scottish National Short Course Swimming Championships 2015.

After taking the title in each of the breaststroke events, Ross Murdoch was named best male performer for the 2015 Scottish National Short Course Championships. The female performer of the meet was awarded to Camilla Hattersley (City of Glasgow) for her dominant swim in the 400m free.

Stephen Milne (Perth City) took two titles after winning the 1500m and a close battle with European Games Champion Duncan Scott (University of Stirling) in the 200m Freestyle.  

Edinburgh University’s Kathryn Johnstone was also on top form claiming the victories in each of the breaststroke events across the weekend.

British swimmers were also in action at The Amsterdam Cup where Adam Peaty (Cityof Derby) secured victories in the 50m and 100m Breastroke. National Centre, Loughborough swimmers Roberto Pavoni and Molly Renshaw also finished with wins in the 400m IM and 200 Breastroke respectively.
