Some of Britain’s best young swimmers have been putting the finishing touches to their preparations ahead of the World Junior Championships kicking off on 25 August in Singapore.
The British contingent includes European Games medallists Luke Greenbank, Charlie Attwood, Cameron Kurle, Holly Hibbott and Martyn Walton.
The six-day competition begins on Tuesday and sees the Olympic programme including the 50m Breaststroke, 50m Butterfly and 50m Backstroke as well as the mixed relays.
For Head of Performance Pathways Tim Jones this event will challenge the athletes as they aim to continue their progress on the international circuit.
"We have selected a small but very capable and focussed team for this meet,” Jones said. “Many have already performed with excellence already this summer at the 2015 European Games, and for them this will be another opportunity to hit out and test themselves against some of the very best junior swimmers from across the world.
“We know that the competition will be tough, but this is exactly the type of challenge that we need to expose our athletes to as they transition towards being successful senior international swimmers.”
