The 13-strong team of Water Polo players have been selected to represent Great Britain at the LEN U19 Men’s European Qualifiers this May.
The team will take on three continental opponents on home soil including Ukraine and Greece between 11-13 May and their first match against Lithuania kicking off at 7:45pm at the East Manchester Leisure Centre on the Friday evening.
Head Coach Sean King made the team selection following a testing training weekend with the seventeen man squad.
King said: “Selection weekend is always difficult. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the players who have contributed to our programme and especially those who won’t continue following this weekend.
“I hope many of the guys will be in Manchester in just under 3 weeks’ time to support the team.
Our final domestic camp is next week before our attention will turn to the 3 game series against Malta at the start of May. It will be a great opportunity for us to execute our plan for the 3 qualification games later that week.”

Tom Hutchens - Barnstaple
Joseph Jenkins-Delph - Welsh Wanderers
