Anti-Harassment and Anti Bullying Policy
We believe that having a culture that is diverse, equitable and inclusive is core to everything that we strive to achieve and to the organisational environment we wish to protect. We support an inclusive culture at Aquatics GB, which is detailed in our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion policy.
One key to protecting our culture and our people is seeking to eradicate bullying or harassment at work. This policy supports this aim by setting out the steps we will take to investigate and deal with complaints of bullying or harassment, and how we support those affected.
Safeguarding Adults at Risk Policy
British Swimming is committed to creating and maintaining a safe and positive environment to safeguard any Adults at Risk involved in our sport and has developed the following policy.
Whistleblowing Policy
British Swimming Whistleblowing Policy outlines the process by which any individua involved at any level of the sport of Swimming, Open Water Swimming, Diving, Para–Swimming, Water Polo, Artistic Swimming and High Diving (together “the Sports”) can raise genuine concerns about wrongdoing or illegal or unethical conduct or about suspected wrongdoing or illegal or unethical conduct with British Swimming for review/investigation without fear of reprisals, even if they turn out to be mistaken unless the concerns raised are not genuine, portrayed as untrue or are raised maliciously.
Organisational Complaints Policy
British Swimming is committed to providing the highest quality service. However, we do recognise that there may be occasions where we fall short of expectations and individuals may not be satisfied. The purpose of this Complaints Policy is to contribute to the effective and efficient operation of British Swimming by providing a means of receiving and addressing complaints from individuals who are dissatisfied with British Swimming. This Policy explains the process of how to make a complaint and what you can expect from us if you do.
